Happy belated birthday, Gramma
I’d planned to post this for my grandmother’s birthday on July 16. However, I fell behind and didn’t get it done.
It’s almost funny. Since she and Grampa had their anniversary on July 17, I often got the days wrong. I don’t know how many times I called her to say, “Happy birthday!” and she answered, “Thank you, honey. All the kids came over and we had a fun day . . .”
And I’m doubly sorry to have missed it, since I’ve already written the memory. I originally shared this as an Instagram post, and since I don’t have anything to add to it, I’ll present it here in the same form.
