Q: What do you mean when you say this story is “quirky”?

A: His Pepper Heart is a snack-sized “book-within-a book” style epistolary story that’s meant to give the reader something to chew on, if you’ll pardon the pun.

Q: Is this Christian Fiction?

A: Maybe not in the strictest sense. Unlike my other works, His Pepper Heart doesn’t have an overt spiritual thread. However, it does include Biblical allusions and symbolism that I hope readers will pause over and appreciate. I can say it is a clean read without gratuitous language or sensuality. This review by Yvette at Bookworlder gives a very fair assessment.
