I’ve just started researching for my next novel, a time-slip involving a lost film found, and what should turn up in the news but this gem!

A film is considered lost when there are no known copies of it in existence. From time to time, one turns up, and a lost film becomes found.

I’ll bet we can expect a release of this “never before seen!” film in the not-too-distant future. I’m not such a Three Stooges fan per se, but I’m so excited about this news. The birth of the film industry and the Golden Age of Hollywood is such a fascinating, rich period. I have a feeling I’m not the only one pursuing it in fiction right now … so stay tuned …

P.S., Here’s a sneak peek at my crazy research reading list! I have a few more on hold at the library, too!

Researching Old Hollywood...

P.P.S. I’m also planning a Book vs. Movie series later this fall as part of my research. If you love to compare literary greats and the films they inspired, you’re in for a treat!
